Tonight a thought was born that sits right in these stone bones. This is my commencement with the human condition. I don’t think I’ve been a human before. It’s always been clear that this is not my first round with consciousness, with soul, or electricity. But flesh, verbal communication, the vastness of human emotion and pedigree…it blows me into dusty powder that must find its way to rest again and again.
Starring at patterns on a couch, the gravity of earth’s humanity, the complexity of our systems and the calculations we must decipher in order to arrive at a conclusion, can leave me masked in layers of an hour. I sift in utter slow motion, looking through eye windows at a universe spinning on an infinite tilt a whirl.
Hence the fascination with the interpretation of mimicry. It is a way of understanding, a way of accepting, a way to say thank you. I see everyone, feel everyone, follow the intoxicating mazes of your human. Then digest it
as I retell the story.
